Dr. Vik Talks New Cosmetic Surgery Trends For 2016

dr.vik 2There are many kinds of New Year’s resolution – loosing weight, developing a hobby or even changing jobs but for a more radical option you might think about having a cosmetic procedure.

You might think that the New Year – with all its New Year, New You hype – would be one of the busiest times of year for the beauty clinic sector but surprisingly Dr. Vik explains the error in this perception. “We have had a steady increase, year on year, of clients since our clinic opened in Manchester in 2008. This is organic growth mainly from recommendations from existing clients – and for that we are very grateful.”

2016 will bring a whole new gamut of cosmetic treatments including a range of IV treatments which can produce incredible results. One of these treatments, Instavein, is suitable for any age and either gender – unlike so many other cosmetic procedures. This vibro-heating treatment uses an extremely fine tip on veins thereby preventing any damage to surrounding skin.

“InstaVein is a revolutionary system that works by treating the thread veins in situ, under the skin. The results are instant and the procedure is relatively pain free,” explained Dr. Vik.

Dr. Vik had some more exciting news to share with VIVA. “We (Dermaskin) have opened a new clinic in Chester on Watergate street which is exciting. Some of our doctors are travelling there but one has relocated to Chester since the move. I have always been fond of Chester since my university and training days and it’s a great opportunity to deliver our services on the other side of Cheshire. We have a large client base who have been travelling from North Wales all the way to Manchester and now we can offer our services a bit closer to them.”
