Manchester-Made and England’s oldest family-owned jam maker has launched a limited-edition range of marmalade-inspired shirts in a bid to make the orange preserve fashionable.

The vibrant and arty range has been influenced by the unique style of Noel Fielding, with his unique and eye-catching shirts having graced TV screens over recent weeks.

The exclusive longline, oversized shirts make a real statement with the use of zesty, bold colours and fun icons – perfect for marmalade lovers.

For those wanting to get their hands on one of these exclusive shirts, Duerr’s is giving people the chance to bid for them via an online silent auction on their website, with all proceeds going to the leading charity Create. This charity provides creative workshops to disadvantaged and vulnerable people across the UK in communities with limited arts provisions.

A spokesman, said: ‘‘We believe marmalade never quite gets the recognition it deserves, so we’re determined to put this zesty preserve back on the map and make it fashionable!

“Not only has Noel been a key inspiration for our shirt design, but a lot of the creative elements have developed from our collaborations with Manchester artists who have worked with us to design our newest marmalade range.

“We strive to support artists in our local community and beyond, which is why we are delighted to have teamed up with Create to help make a positive difference and encourage vulnerable individuals who wouldn’t normally have access to such creative opportunities.’’

The silent auction is open for bids until 31st October.
