Debbie Manley | 22nd March 2018

Radiohead front man Thom Yorke is set to perform a headline show at the Palace Theatre on Sunday 10 June 2018 as part of his European tour – one of only three UK dates!

Tickets for this Manchester show go on sale at 10am on Friday 23 March – and demand expected to be high.

Thom will be performing a live mix with Nigel Godrich and visual artist Tarik Barri, playing tracks from across his solo material. There will also be a special guest appearance from Oliver Coates.

As well as dates in major cities across Italy, Germany and the Netherlands, Thom is appearing at Sonar Festival in Barcelona.

Radiohead, formed in 1985, have sold more than 30 million albums including Pablo Honey, The Bends, OK Computer, Kid A, Amnesiac, Hail to the Thief, In Rainbows, The King of Limbs and A Moon Shaped Pool. They were nominated for the Rock and Rill Hall of Fame in 2017.

Thom released his first solo album, The Eraser, in 2006. Three years later, Thom formed a new band Atoms for Peace with Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea and Nigel to perform the album live. They released an album Amok in 2013.

He released a second solo album Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes, in 2014 – and loves leaving cryptic clues on his Twitter account…

Other collaborations have include Bjork, Flying Lotus, PJ Harvey, and a number of film sountracks, including teaming up with Rag & Bone for Why Can’t We Get Along – starring Kate Mara and Ansel Elgort – see video below.
