Gino D’Acampo returns to Manchester for sell-out evening at My Restaurant

The UK’s favourite Italian chef, Gino D’Acampo, returned to Manchester once again last night, to host a special evening at My Restaurant, Corn Exchange.
The exclusive event followed last month’s, ever-popular visit to Gino’s My Pizza & Prosecco Bar.
Following the same format as the last, sell-out evening, the party, for over 100 guests, opened with a reception of Prosecco and cicchetti, followed by a delicious, four course meal, paired with the finest Italian wine.
Talking guests through every dish, created exclusively by the popular chef for the evening, Gino shared stories of his time growing up in Italy, his journey as a chef and why the dishes served are amongst his own personal favourites.
With drinks flowing and the atmosphere bubbling, guests were invited to turn the tables on the Italian chef and popular TV presenter, with questions taken from the floor. Filling the restaurant with laughter, Gino happily answered every question posed.

Speaking on the evening, Gino said: “I love Manchester, it’s always been a city after my own heart, which is why I have three restaurants here! I was here just last month and every time I visit I’m reminded why I love it so much.
“I’m blown away by the response I’ve had to these events, it’s truly humbling. I love nothing more than spending time with guests in my restaurants and seeing them enjoy some of my favourite, traditional dishes.”
The evening was the first of three events to be hosted by Gino in his restaurants this week, with evenings at My Restaurant, Harrogate, and My Restaurant, Hull, to follow on the 6th and 7th of March.
