Hacienda Classical With Manchester Camerata Return To Manchester

The city’s experimental orchestra will be returning with a new set and sound track for their shows up and down the country.

The events will feature the third new set of Hacienda Classical which is currently being prepared by DJ’s Graeme Park and Mike Pickering alongside executive producer Peter Hook and musical director Tim Crooks.

Many of Hacienda Classical’s classics will be back in the repertoire with many new tracks added in for the players and special guests.

Graeme Park is excited about next year’s events: “We’re continually looking to improve the show and next year’s will be bigger and better.

“It has to be after the immense success of this year’s show. We’ll probably keep some songs and bring back some from 2016, but there will be lots of new songs, new guests and some surprises too.”

With many rave reviews under Hacienda’s belt you can just tell it’s going to be a great night.

NME called it “Probably the best rave since 1997” while Mixmag termed the event – “A near two hour blend of house music’s greatest players with an audience dancing and singing from the off.”

As The Hacienda’s dance heritage has collided with the world of classical music, the concerts have been widely praised with great audience responses from the gigs and dates selling out in minutes.

Now coming into its third year, these inspirational nights have recreated the tunes that defined a generation at the original club, renewed afresh and rearranged with a classical orchestra.

The show will be at Castlefields Bowl in Manchester on Saturday 30th June 2018.

Don’t miss out on tickets when they go on sale TOMORROW! (Friday 1st December) at 9am.
