Has Samia Ghadie given the game away as to which dress she will be wearing when she walks down the aisle later this year?

Set to wed Dancing On Ice star Sylvain Longchambon this summer, Samia looked relaxed and happy as she browsed wedding dresses today at the North West’s most prestigious bridal event, Bride: The Wedding Show, at Tatton Park. She also took time to try a variety of cake samples and speak to music exhibitors, before heading in to the show’s catwalk event for further inspiration for her big day. A far cry from the cobbles when her soap character Maria wed Liam in 2008, Samia has made no secret of her excitement to wed Sylvain in what will, no doubt, be a stylish affair.

The perfect event for brides and grooms to be, Bride: The Wedding Show takes place every year in a beautiful marquee in the picturesque grounds of Tatton Park, Knutsford and features over 150 luxury wedding exhibitors.

I was lucky enough to attend Bride: The Wedding Show, and I have to say – even as a non-bride – it was a great day. Even the awful weather didn’t ruin the vibe inside the magnificent marquee. Employees were on hand to give the best advice to the blushing brides and their families, guiding them through every step to create their perfect day. Decorations adorned every corner of the marquee, making me gasp at the beauty and creativity of some of them. Magicians and musicians were on hand to entertain those dining in the small restaurant as they ate their (rather tasty) buffet-style lunch, before heading off to the run

It was a good day had by all, and I’m sure the brides in attendance left even more excited and inspired for their special day. I would definitely recommend to any of you unsure of how to create that once-in-a-lifetime day!
