Jamie Moore’s Book Signing A Hit

jamie moore 16Jamie Moore’s Moorsey The Fighter’s Fighter was released on the 1st of July to rave reviews. Jamie is highly respected in the boxing community and many fans had travelled to meet him on Saturday at Waterstones on Deansgate.

jamie moore 15As well as fans, the book signing was attended by Jamie’s family, wife Colleen, son Mikey and daughter Olivia and some of his best known fitness clients, Cath Tyldesley and Katie Mcglynn (Coronation Street), Jamie Lomas (Warren, Hollyoaks)  and Anthony Quinlan (Pete, Emmerdale) took time out of their busy schedules to support their coach and friend.

Actress Cath said: ”Jamie’s story is inspirational. He is living proof that dreams and goals can come true. I love boxing as a sport and i think it is a great way to keep healthy, both mentally and physically. It is such an honour to train with Jamie, I think he must have the patience of a saint when it comes to training me. I am so thrilled for him and all he has achieved. His autobiography is a great read and you are bound to be inspired and feel as though you really get to know him as you are reading it .”

After the signing, Jamie celebrated the book launch with friends and family at nearby Dog Bowl on Whitworth St where the group enjoyed american style food and ten pin bowling . The group were presented with a delicious red velvet cake made by Slattery’s.

Jamie Moore said: “I was overwhelmed by the turnout and the support I got, and the distance people had travelled to come and meet me . Some people had come from  London, Bournemouth, Torquay and even Dublin. There were some friendly old faces that I hadn’t seen for years too. Big thanks to Waterstones for their hospitality and to Dogbowl for hosting the after party, it was a great day made even more enjoyable by them.
