Keep wedding inspiration alive with Love Invited

Are you looking for wedding inspiration, but have heard the words ‘in these uncertain times’ too many times recently?

If you have been planning your dream day for the last couple of years, but things have unexpectedly been put on hold, we’re here to keep the inspiration alive with the help of Amanda Williams, owner of independent wedding stationer, Love Invited.

Amanda explains; “This is going to be a year of big change, we’re seeing sustainability becoming as important to couples as great design, more couples embracing the natural world with botanicals, and artistic flair is taking centre stage with custom illustrations.

“At the end of 2019 Pantone also released its colour of the year, Classic Blue—a familiar, calming shade of azure, which we feature in our new Confetti collection.”

Which of these will feature on your big day when it comes to getting back to planning for your big day?

Illustrations

One of the biggest wedding trends we’re seeing is illustrated wedding stationery. This style not only gives a very personal touch, but also gives the couple complete control over exactly how this will come to life on paper.

One of the best ways couples can set the tone for their big day is with wedding invites, and the theme can then be carried right through to on the day stationery, such as table plans and name cards.

Geometric

The beautiful world of interiors overspills to weddings this year, with marble and geometric metallics predicted to be a very popular look.

This style keeps it chic and stylish, and allows couples to choose their favourite metallic finish for the foil printing, but we love the rose gold.

Botanicals

Our obsession with the natural world and botanicals creates a beautiful look for both the wedding décor and stationery.

Couples can choose to either keep to a more muted pallet or, like the new Instagram obsession with dried flowers, go for more punchy colours with bright pinks or even the new Pantone colour of 2020 – Azure Blue!

Artistic

Artistic styling allows couples to get super creative and embrace rich textures and details.

There are lots of ways to bring a more artistic flavour to wedding stationery, from paint detailing such as Watercolour as seen on our Sweetheart collection, to adding foiling detail on a strong colour base, as seen on our Confetti collection.

Sustainability

Sustainability is the hot topic of 2020, and something that we all need to consider in our daily lives.

If this is a top priority for couples, Love Invited can source planet-friendly recycled paper and finishes to help you stay more eco-conscious. Plus digital designs, which can be used on wedding websites.
