Brand new Ibiza themed club Lazy Lizard opened its doors on Wednesday night, bringing balearic beats and good vibes like no other to Manchester. A stunning venue and a host of VIP guests, the opening was a huge success and gave guests a taste of the VIP Ibiza lifestyle.

An unmissable DJ line up including the likes of Erick Morillo and Pete Gooding, VIVA’s own E.M.A and Girl On Sax took to the decks at the start of the night and put the 800 capacity club’s sound system to the test to an audience of well versed Ibiza party-goers.

The club’s pristine white interior and flattering UV lighting gave that iconic VIP feel to the club – think Ushuaïa or Ocean Beach.

With the champagne flowing, it wasn’t long before guests took to the dancefloor to the sound of Cafe Mambo’s very own Pete Gooding who provided house beats and sax riffs that had everyone on their feet.

Among guests were professional boxer Jamie Moore and super star DJ Lisa Lashes. Corrie girls Katie Mcglynn and Tisha Merry made an appearance who took to the decks with pal E.M.A.

This weekend will see DJ and producer Kenny Dope kickstart the Ministry of Sound monthly residency on Friday 8th December with house, hip-hop, latin, jazz, funk & soul tunes. Saturday night will see Ocean Beach’s event Soul Heaven take to Lazy Lizard for their weekly residency. Expect smooth deep house tunes and a host of world renowned DJs including the likes of Norman Jay MBE who will headline the opening night. Tickets are available here
