The grains are farmed milled and slow dried in the UK. Using 100% naturally grown grains, which is as fresh as it gets, the L+F pasta aficionados tell us that it adds so much more depth to the flavour.
Some of their most popular dishes include the crab & squid ink tagliolini, in a garlic, lemon & pickled chilli sauce. Also, the 8-hour slow cooked beef ragu with a hint of spice which is a personal favourite of mine.
Between two of us, we had the slow cooked beef ragu made with wide ribbons of pappardelle in a rich meaty sauce, along with the fennel sausage ragu made with orecchiette.
This was accompanied by the super tasty rocket and parmesan salad and the garlic, rosemary and parsley bread. This was the perfect amount of food between two people and meant we got to try a bit of everything.
For dessert we tried the salted caramel cannoli’s and I’m still dreaming about them today. These cannoli’s consisted of salted caramel cream and candied peanuts wrapped in an almond pastry shell which was just to die for.

VIVA Verdict: If one thing is for sure, Love + Flour isn’t just a regular takeaway. Not only does the food arrive at your door perfectly packaged, but the food itself is incredibly well presented to give you the wow factor. The food itself is incredible, this really is restaurant quality food at home.
Order hack: always order the bread with the L+F herb garlic butter, it’s addictive!
