How to make this Valentine’s Day one to remember – London Style…

Many poets and philosophers have said that love is for all seasons. That’s true, but there’s nothing like Valentine’s Day to remind your significant other that you totally love and appreciate them.
Why not make this Valentine’s Day one to remember by surprising them with a night in London? If that sounds like a whole lot of organizing, then fear not, we have created a guide that will blow your partner away.

Location: London, UK

Hotel: Radisson Blu Edwardian Mercer Street Hotel
This boutique hotel lays at the heart of Covent Garden and is the ideal spot to whisk a loved one off to this Valentine’s Day. We went to try it out and found it to be the perfect mixture of comfortable yet stylish. The 4* establishment is the ultimate city retreat, with the luxurious rooms looking out into the cobbled streets, scattered with boutique Covent Garden shops. Not only are the rooms beautifully decorated, but there are suites on offer that ooze romance.
Staying so central means there are plenty of cocktail bars and pubs nearby, plus you can walk for a couple of minutes to Leicester Square for more fun.

The hotel is currently doing Valentine’s deals, check them out here.

Activity: Cambridge Theatre, Covent Garden
A 30 second walk out of the hotel and you will find the Cambridge Theatre.
Over the past decade, some of its theatrical successes have been as head-turning as its design, featuring three of Covent Garden’s biggest hits—the incendiary Jerry Springer: The Opera, the crowd-pleasing Chicago and the exuberantly funny Matilda: The Musical.
Taking a loved one here is a sure way to make it a Valentine’s Day to remember. The amazing show Matilda is still on during Valentine’s Day!

Restaurant: Monmouth Kitchen
VIVA tried out Monmouth Kitchen – one word – wowzers! Not only were the staff endlessly attentive, but the food was incredible. The cuisine is Italian and Peruvian small plates, which includes dishes such as smoked BBQ chicken pizza with coriander and chillies or seared scallop salad with rocoto dressing. Every generous portion that came out was bursting with flavors. Each plate is between £6-£10, so this divine cuisine won’t be breaking the bank!
The décor is super modern with a cool playlist murmuring in the background. Did we add, that this restaurant is underneath the hotel, so this amazing night will include no taxis or tubes #chilling!

Overall this guide is perfect for a Valentine’s treat, once you’ve arrived at the hotel everything is within walking distance and in a perfect location! To add to that, you won’t be overpaying as these suggestions are the best quality at a fair price.

Let us know if you’re heading to Covent Garden this Valentine’s Day – it’ll be one to remember!
