Manchester Fashion Festival – A Night To Remember!

Christie Hutchinson | 13th October 2018

When you mix some of Manchester’s hottest designers and a room full of the North West’s finest stars, you can only expect a night of glamour, and that’s certainly what the return of Manchester Fashion Festival gave us.

It’s the brain child of the girls from Real PR, Lisa Forshaw and Laura Stubbs and having been friends with the VIVA team for a long time, it’s amazing to see what these business women and female entrepreneurs have created.

The night celebrated Manchester born fashion labels, some of which have turned into global designers in an array of catwalks, all hosted by a former girl of the cobbles, Cath Tyldesley. The night was full of charisma and camaraderie as she shared the red carpet with her fellow co-stars Bhavna Limbachia, who is also an ambassador of the festival, Victoria Ekanoye and Lucy Fallon.

Guests were welcomed into The Midland Hotel with a Worsley Gin before being seated for a lavish 3 course meal and a night of entertainment.

Soap land’s finest lined either side of the catwalk in the FROW as designs from Nadine Merabi, Boda Skins, Zeynep Kartel, The Couture Club and Junq Couture showcased their latest collections.

Main sponsors of the night, REVIV told the audience of their venture after opening their latest flagship clinic, here in Manchester, while other sponsors House of Evelyn Cosmetics made sure all the models were glam ready for the catwalk. Other sponsors included Kit Kase, who gave away one of their cases in the raffle, where all money raised went to Forever Manchester and goody bags were by Clinica Manchester, Hotel Gotham & QC Legal.

The night saw a whole host of great entertainment including Blue’s Simon Webbe, who had us up on our feet,  Britain’s Got Talent’s ‘Rise’, who filled the room with emotion, our very own VIVA Ems who got the party started from the get go and the amazing Mr. Wilson’s Second Line.
