Mother’s Day Events In Manchester

MOTHER’S Day is just around the corner, Sunday 26, March, to be exact, and so the VIVA team have put together a list for you, full of Mother’s Day events happening in and around Manchester that you may enjoy.

We are also sharing our Mother’s Day gift guide, with a selection of presents to suit all kinds of Mums, from the fashionistas and foodies, to the beauty queens, there is something for everyone.

Manchester’s Mother’s Day Events

This year, in celebration of the special day, Selfridges have launched their #MyMumIs campaign. Recognising that Mum’s can be all different things – beautiful, inspiring, courageous and so much more.

 

As part of this they will be hosting a Mother’s Day Beauty Event on Saturday 25th March 12 – 6pm, at both Selfridges Exchange Square and intu Trafford.

You can take your Mum along for a spectacular day of complimentary drinks, live entertainment and special beauty workshops with your favourite make-up artists – and find the perfect Mother’s Day gift while you are spending a lovely afternoon of quality time with her.

Tickets are £10 and are redeemable against a purchase within the Beauty Hall on the day.

Another option is to celebrate Mother’s Day, with a trip to Spinningfields, a perfect choice for dining and gifts. Spinningfields boasts some of the finest restaurants in Manchester, with Neighbourhood, Iberica, Tattu, The Alchemist, Scene, Artisan and Carluccio’s all offering special treats on Mother’s Day.

Mums eat for free at Neighbourhood, with the restaurant also playing host to live music performances, starting at 3pm, and DJ performances, starting from 9pm.

Contemporary Chinese favourite, Tattu, will offer a complimentary cocktail to celebrate the launch of their brand-new cocktail menu. Whilst cocktail specialists The Alchemist will be giving mothers a complimentary ‘peaches and cream’ drink when booking a table online.

Over at Artisan, they will be hosting their special edition Mother’s Day Marketfest, which will include fun for the whole family. Expect; live music, face painting, board games, pizza making, cupcake decorating, Mother’s Day card making and Prosecco and Champagne tasting.

Scene Indian Kitchen, Spinningfields’ hub for traditional Indian dishes, will be giving away roses to mums dining with them on the 26th.

And finally Harvey Nichols, Manchester are hosting, Mother’s Day dining (Sunday 26 March) at their Second Floor Brasserie. You can treat your Mum to three delicious courses complete with a special 30 minute Power Booster ELEMIS facial, worth £30, to give her the day of indulgence she deserves after raising you so perfectly.

Choose from mouth-watering dishes such as a helping of ricotta cannelloni with tasty cheeses and nutmeg, or go all out with roasted beef sirloin and Yorkshire puddings. Then after lunchtime is over, it’s spa time with the ELEMIS facial. Happy Mother’s day indeed.
