Mrs Hinch’s top picks
? Carpet cleaning spray (1001)
For your highest chance of bagging these products, head to B&M and Asda. At the time considered, both stores stocked all but one product, hence stocking 25 out of the 26 items. Asda doesn’t currently have multipurpose spray (Dettol) and B&M is missing soda crystals.
In second place is Sainsbury’s. Stocking 23 out of 26 cleaning essentials, it currently doesn’t have white vinegar spray, multipurpose spray (Dettol) and fluffy dusters (Pledge) in stock.
Next is Waitrose with 22 out of 26 products in stock, followed by Tesco (21/26) and then Morrisons (18/26).
In last place is Aldi. The store famous for its cheaper alternatives doesn’t appear to be as prepared or well-stocked as its competitors. It is missing 18 out of 26 possible cleaning products. The only products it currently stocks are:
- Bicarbonate of soda
- Disinfectant
- Carpet cleaning spray
- Toilet cleaner
- Bathroom cleaning spray
- Polish
- Fabric softener
- Multipurpose spray.
