New Manchester-inspired album is packed full of iconic sounds from the city

‘Manc You For The Music’ is an album in celebration of the Hard Rock Cafe’s 20th anniversary.
The 20-track Manchester-inspired Spotify album’s listing features a range of Mancunian artists including, Stone Roses, The Hollies, Marcel King and Pins.
Other artists featured in the digital album include New Order, Doves, Lovescene and Children of Zeus.

“Collaborating with nine iconic, talented, diverse and highly opinionated music aficionados and taste makers to create a Manchester playlist was an intense and revelatory experience,” said DJ Paulette, ‘Manc You For The Music’ Panellist and DJ.
“Manchester’s rich musical history – past, present and future, from guitar pop to future techno – were all represented and hotly contested. I hope we’ve done our fair city true justice.”
Aneta Jarzmik, General Manager at Hard Rock Cafe Manchester, explains: “This commemorative playlist was a great way to celebrate 20 years since we opened the doors to Hard Rock Cafe Manchester.
“This selection process was not easy, but we are thrilled to honour such an eclectic group of artists from Manchester and showcase the wealth of music our beloved city has produced for all of our guests and fans to hear”, she added.
