New music is imminent from Johnny Black

This Valentines day will bring new music to your ears; not just secret admirers. Johnny Black will be releasing a new single called ‘Love Is Not enough’.

It’s longer than the average song, with a moody charm to it, so perfect for any sulking Valentines.

Johnny Black is the alter-ego of Daniel Walsh.

Daniel wrote songs for the indie band Tourist Attractions, but has now taken on a new persona, for a solo project.

He plays with a full band, based at BIMM Manchester, but writes and produces his own songs.

He hit the Manchester music scene last October, with a release called ‘Donnie’, which was inspired by the classic film Donnie Darko.

Last year saw him sell-out his debut gig at Gullivers.

He’s also been play-listed by ‘Under The Radar Gems’ on Spotify.

With festival plans for later this year he’s certainly one to keep an eye on.

If you plan on keeping an ear out for him, then you can catch him playing Aatma in April.
