VIVA ‘darts-over’ to Oche Club at Morley’s in Hale

Holly Ripley | 22nd September 2018

In the heart of Hale village you’ll find the unique Oche Club at Morley’s.

Upstairs you’ll find contemporary dining with stone baked pizzas, ciabatta burgers and hanging kebabs featured on the menu. Behind the bar, an array of spirits, beer and bubbly alongside craft cocktails that your instagram page will thank you for.

The rustic aesthetic, vibrant music and welcoming staff are what makes Morley’s perfect for any occasion. From family meals, to dinner dates and everything in between.

As we browsed the menu, I couldn’t help but notice the abundance of cocktails, categorised by spirit and flavour. My eyes looked no further. I was recommended a raspberry infused cocktail and I have to say, this was one of the best cocktails I’ve had in a long time, and they were all priced under a tenner!

For food, we ordered the Napoli pizza and the chicken and halloumi burger, served with chips and salad. The pizza dough was soft, authentic and delicious. The chicken and halloumi burger was generously stacked and left a salty tingle of halloumi on your lips.

After we had dined, we were escorted downstairs to the Oche Club for a new interactive darts experience.

Each party has their own private booth equipped with a dart
board, TV screen and interactive touch screen where you programmed players’ names and select games.

Table service is also provided to the booths downstairs, where staff welcome orders of food and drinks to your table.

The new technology tells you whose turn it is and keeps the score, so no cheating! It’s also worth mentioning, that each private dart board is faced in different directions of the room, so pressure’s off for newbies, all eyes aren’t on you.

We had a fantastic all round experience at Morley’s and the Oche Club and would highly recommend a visit. The club is in a great location, situated approximately 200 yards from Hale train station, so transportation couldn’t be easier. It’s certainly worth a trip out of the city!
