PLY is a bar, restaurant and creative space on Stevenson Square in the heart of Manchester’s Northern Quarter, a fresh, design-led concept, with a distinct European influence and an extensive arts programme. Refreshed regularly, the Doodle Wall is a long-term initiative delivered in partnership with Absolut, PLY’s arts partner. Local artists are invited to show off their creative skills on the 4 x 3.5 metre wall installation, which is positioned prominently next to the bar.

MYRO DOODLES

Myro started out as a teenager drawing with henna and doodling all over herself with a gel pen, which is when she mastered authentic mehndi and developed her intricate and sprawling style. Soon swapping her henna for ink, Myro found an intricacy that is rumoured to make people’s eyes go funny….something that has become a trademark for her designs.

Myro’s work has been included in advertising for music acts including The Ukrainians, H.O.R.P.Y.N.A and Ruslana. She has also produced pieces for PyvoFest, the UK’s only Ukrainian beer festival, and is currently working on a very special project for the Stroke Association.
