Pride Of Our City

Suzanne Elizabeth | 5th June 2017

All our hearts sank when the devastating news hit about the terrorist attack at Ariana Grande’s concert on the 22
nd May 2017 at the Manchester arena. As a spiritual healer who promotes love and peace I found it incredibly hard to accept anybody would want to cause so much devastation, especially to young innocent lives. As a mum of two teenage girls I felt sick to my stomach when I saw parents searching for their children and vice versa. I didn’t sleep for two nights and yet I wasn’t even there. Love has poured in from all over the world.

When you think about the extent of fear anxiety and distress people must have felt that evening, you have to consider the huge amount of 1 to 1 support that is going to be needed to nurture people now & in the future.

There are many organisations offering help for those feeling traumatised such as: Mind & CANS

I personally have been offering free 1 to 1 support for anybody who feels they need it, you can reach me here

For anybody into meditation and heeling I did a live meditation on my Facebook, if you’d like to check it out you can find it here

3 Top Tips to get through these tough times…

  1. Don’t bottle up your feelings, they will only get worse.
  2. Don’t isolate yourself, make sure you keep living and do the things you’d normally do.
  3. Make sure to reach out to people & get the support you need.

Proud to be born and bred in Manchester.

Sending love and support out to all.
