The ladies return to our screens next week for a seventh series. However, one famous face is missing from the line-up.

Property entrepreneur Dawn Ward, WAG Tanya Bardsley and self-confessed “domestic goddess” Lauren Stone are now the only three cast members that have appeared on the show since series one, as Leanne Brown recently announced her exit.

The mum-of-three, Leanne, was central to the last few series as the show focused on her financial row with fellow Real Housewife and ex-friend, Dawn. The dispute was never fully explained on the ITVBe show but Leanne has reportedly admitted, “At the end of the last series it got too hard, it wasn’t fun for me anymore.”

Fans took to Twitter to give their views on her exit, but many had mixed opinions. One viewer wrote, “Gutted @leanne_e_brown isn’t going to be in @OfficialRHCOC this series!! I won’t be the same without you!!” Whilst another fan seemed happy with her departure, tweeting, “@dawnward4 glad to see you back to RHOC.. good riddance @leanne_e_brown..hopefully we see the fun Dawn back xx”.

The rest of the cast from series six will all be returning. Familiar faces include fashion designer Seema Malhotra, artist Stacey Forsey and Czech born Ester Dee. Plus, there will be some guest appearances from Paddy McGuiness’ wife, Christine. Despite the rumours about her joining as a full-time housewife, she did not appear in any publicity photos but has been spotted filming with the ladies around Manchester.

ITV have revealed that a surprise birthday party is set to bring the girls back together again in episode one but in true housewives style, drama is always just around the corner.

The Real Housewives of Cheshire, series seven, will start on Monday 26th March at 10pm on ITVBe.
