The Maltese do have their own language but you will find it easy to get by as English is spoken everywhere thanks to the fact that Malta was part of the British Empire until it gained independence in 1964.
Easy to Travel
Malta is also easy to get to – with a flight time of around 3 hours – and getting around is simple as it is such a small island.
You simply need to arrange a flight and pre-book Malta airport transfers to take you to your accommodation. You can then hire a car, use a bus, get a cab or walk if your accommodation is well located.
