Six Beauty Essentials To Get You Through Motherhood

BECOMING a busy mum on the go, means that your morning routines are now full of activity. The beauty and make-up regime you once had, takes a back seat and is replaced with last minute homework, baby-changing bag packing or digging the PE Kit out of the dirty wash again…..whoops!
If it’s time for you to overhaul your make-up bag so it fits your new life as a mum on the go. Here’s some of my favourite quick fix products that you might need…
1)Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Moisturising Day Cream
This moisturiser from Palmers is an absolute gem for the price!
It glides on beautifully and doesn’t leave any greasy residue, meaning you don’t have to wait around to apply your make-up on top. It also has the added benefit of SPF15, so if you forget the sun cream you are covered.
I tried this out and it really does leave the skin feeling soft and creates a great base or make-up.
2)Know Cosmetics No Dark Shadows Dark Shadows Complexion Enhancer
No Dark Shadows is a really blendable concealer that works well to hide away imperfections including dark circles.
It’s super easy to apply, using the same twisty pen function that you find on its more expensive competitor YSL’s Touche Éclat.
It gives good coverage and can also be used as a primer or to contour.
I can’t describe just how much I love the smell of this dry shampoo, it boasts a unique blend of botanical extracts including aloe vera, mango, kiwi and ginger lily!
It’s a little on the expensive side for a dry shampoo compared to other non – luxury brands, but if you do decide to splash out, you will not be disappointed.
It has a colourless natural formula’s which is able to absorb oil at the root without leaving you looking like you had a fight with the baby powder. I LOVE IT!
4) Palmers oil Palmer’s Multi-Effect Perfecting Facial Oil
I always shy away from oil products because I have quiet oily skin, but was surprised to learn from a beauty expert, that it’s great to fight oil, with oil!
Oils are packed with vitamins, amino acids and anti-oxidants to heal, protect and hydrate tired skin and this unique blend contains 9 of them: Argan Oil, Macadamia Nut Oil, Maracuja Oil, Apricot Oil, Sunflower Seed Oil, Coconut Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Sesame Oil…..It also has Vitamin E and Retinol (Vitamin A) which helps reduce fine lines and wrinkles.
I use this as night time after cleansing and apply a thin layer onto my face and neck and massage into skin.
5)Zero Grey Root Touch Up Magnetic Powder
When I first came across Everpro Beauty Zero Grey I was a little like…..what!
But then I saw it in use and was pretty impressed.
The temporary root touch-up magnetic powder is a quick and effective solution to get rid of unwanted grey roots. Perfect if you are busy with kids and are in between hair appointments.
It comes in 3 shades for blonde, brown and black and washes out easily with a quick shampoo.
6)Delilah Time Frame Future Resist Foundation
This is a lovely foundation for those that like the natural makeup look. It stays put all day and gives skin a luscious soft feel.
It’s a fluid foundation that blends effortlessly with the skin, giving a flawless finish.
It had a light, buildable coverage and also has some key ingredients such as: Vitamin A and E and SPF 20 that works to protect against environmental damage and offers sun protection.
