Sounds From The Other City confirms entire lineup

There can be few festivals as good a value for money as Salford’s Sounds From The Other City. The May 6th event has added a host of afterparties, new acts and artists to it’s already jam packed bill – for just £27.75.

There truly is something for everyone at the festival, with the Moist Collective hosting a whole day of short films inside GK Cafe – along with their Moist Queerground Tent, set to feature a whole load of “punked up sex toys, queered up fairground fun” alongside special guest performers!

That’s not to mention the huge names added to the main bill. Two of the biggest acts to join the festivals line up have just been added, including Laura Misch – the jazz-IDM fusing, soulful singer-songwriter always puts on a hell of a show, and this Sounds gig promises to be one not to miss.

Another act to join is Jacuzzi, welcomed by the Liverpool sound spotters Invisible Wind Factory. Jacuzzi  is a five peice musical collective inspired by, well, jacuzzis. Sure to put on a live show worth catching!

After the days fun eventually draws to a close, The Eagle In will join forces with PINS, NYC Indie Disco and ANTICS to throw the biggest alt party the Eagle Inn has seen, with the usual Night & Day residents bringing LCD Soundsystem, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Animal Collective and more to the Sounds audience.

All that is just the new additions, so to get your heads around the brightest names in new music – including XamVolo (who recently supported Paloma Faith), Sleazy F Baby (and his DRIPSET) and metal highflyers PIJN bag yourself one of the final tickeets available here.
