Take a look up next time you walk through your city and you may see Mr Ally Law and his Urbex crew

VIVA are absolutely obsessed with Urbex and parkour stunt man Ally Law’s You Tube channel!

It was a bit of a brucie bonus last weekend for VIVA Ems when we set her the mission to find Disco Boy, (link to this mission HERE), she also got to meet his good friends too; Adam Marr, Dylan Rhodes, Own Reece, Ben Derrick, Roof Top Kings, The Little Nuisance and the almighty Ally Law.

These guys are Urban Explorers also known as ‘Urbex’. They like to explore man-made structures, usually abandoned ruins or not usually seen components of the man-made environment, and have all built up quite a big following on social media, especially Southampton lad Ally Law who reaches millions of views on his You Tube videos plus has over two million subscribers on his channel.

Nothing these guys do on their videos is fake! Over the pass few years they have climbed the Etihad Stadium in Manchester and London’s O2 Arena, sneaked into rooftop pools in Dubai, broken into water parks and done a whole lot of parkour stunts on top of hotels and other tall building roof tops around the world!

But it’s not been all fun and games for these ‘living life to the max’ guys. They regularly have the police on their backs and have been banned from certain cities.

Ally has had around eleven court cases he’s attend to this year and is getting sued for £150,000, which includes one court case still being resolved with the TV show Big Brother, more about this on the video below.

Local lad Adam Marr is part of the team who have set up a Parkour Academy in Manchester, located in the Hub at Rockover climbing centre.

The concept behind the Parkour Academy is to create a space where people of any ability can learn parkour, weather it’s the absolute basics or advance level moves.

Parkour uses the body in a variety of different ways, which have a big crossover into different sports and even everyday life.
