Terra Solis: The new magical desert destination in the UAE

The world’s most iconic music festival, Tomorrowland, has landed in Dubai in true Tomorrowland style, launching a brand-new unique desert destination in the UAE.
Terra Solis, which translates to “Land of the Sun,” represents a mystical and magical world nestled between the Arabian dunes inspired by the beautiful star constellations.
Orion pool lodge
This new oriental-chic desert oasis spread over 371,000 square meters has something for everyone to experience by day and night. You can unwind and energise by the pool on the wide range of sunbeds and cabanas, listening to the beats of resident DJs while enjoying refreshing cocktails and tasting the cuisine that fuses flavours from around the world.
Or suppose you’re looking for an overnight stay under the stars. In that case, Terra Solis has a unique glamping experience inspired by star constellations featuring the luxurious Polaris bell tents, the grand Perseid lodges, and Orion pool lodges with their large terrace and private pool.
I and fellow VIVA girl Carla are massive fans of Tomorrowland and couldn’t wait to check out Terra Solis, so we booked a daycation at the Orion cabin by the poolside.
These beautifully designed cabins sleep two people, but you can have up to 10 guests stay during the day, enjoying the private pool and sunbathing on the large terrace with VIP service plus, the cabin is just steps away from the central lagoon to soak up the Terra Solis atmosphere.
Cuisine at Mesa
We are big foodies, so for lunch, we dived into some signature Mediterranean dishes from Mesa, the Terra Solis restaurant inspired by the ‘Tastes of the World’ cuisine of Tomorrowland.
VIVA highly recommends the Beef Ponzu for meat lovers; I love seafood and went for the Atlantic Cod, which was so fresh, plus the Provencal Tian looked tasty for vegetarians.
After lunch, it was time for a dip in the pool and a cocktail! And It just so happens you can do both simultaneously by swimming out to the eye-catching bar in the pool.
