The day we have all been waiting for has arrived. On Tuesday 7th April, The Caz Matthews and Emma were back on the airwaves for their first show on FAB Radio International and what a show it was! Not only were they giddily over-excited to be back in their presenting seats, in a new great station, they were inundated with guests popping into the studios at FAB Radio to say hello. Local band, The Backhanders, together with their manager – number one UK prankster Karl Power, aka Fatneck – joined them; followed closely by the lovely Kermit from the newly-reunited Black Grape and wow, it was great to see him. Jay Ee-go Smith the Artist also climbed up to the FAB Studios just like Batman to see what the birds were up to while the fantastic photographer that is Karin Albinsson was clicking away behind the scenes.

So that’s it, the birds are back with a bang and FAB Radio International is the place to be every Tuesday LIVE from 3pm-6pm. www.fabradiointernational.com

Tuesday 14th April and, after a hectic week apiece, the birds came fluttering back to FAB Radio. Caz had been at Manchester’s Palace Theatre once again to see Jesus Christ Superstar. She was a little apprehensive at first but by the end she was utterly amazed at the fantastic performance. Yes, you definitely have to go and see this show which, in Caz’s words “Will blow your mind.”

She also took the opportunity to interview the T-Rex Boys who were playing in Garstang, Lancashire of all places. Graham Oliver (original member of SAXON) and Paul Fenton (original Drummer of T-Rex) took time out to chat to Caz about their shenanigans back in the day and about the late Marc Bolan. Great interview which you can hear again here.

Barely alive, Emma was back to reveal all about The Snowbombing Festival of 2015 where she partied and snowbombed hard for four whole days non-stop. You can read all about who was there and what was happening here.

The Mama Mia soundtrack could be heard over the airwaves as Caz and Emma chatted to the lovely Vikki and Greg, the directors and lead performers (Frida and Benny) in the ABBA Reunion Tribute show which is currently touring the UK.  They played at Manchester’s Middleton Arena on Friday 17th April and it was a smash. If you’re an ABBA lover, which most people say they are not but we know different, then this show is a real must-see. Check out where and when you can catch it.

The birds will be back next week with more great guests, more great soundtracks and, of course, more great giveaways only on FAB Radio International but while you’re waiting you can listen again to any of their shows via their Podomatic Account.
