The Bolton Food Festival Reveal Their Star Guests

With summer just around the corner to get your taste buds tingling Bolton have revealed that Ainsley Harriott, Simon Rimmer, James Martin and Michael Caines will all be appearing at the annual food and drink festival in Bolton.

With the perfect recipe of guests, the event will run from August 25th to the 28th this year. All the celebrities will be giving live cookery demonstrations and hosting a series of special events.

The Michelin-starred chef Michael Caines is set to kick off the festival before hosting a gala dinner that same night. He said “It is always an honor to launch this amazing festival. It’s got a fantastic vibe and I look forward to it every year.”

Next, on the menu, they have Simon Rimmer co-presenter and chef of Channel 4 Sunday Brunch where he will be showcasing some recipes. He said “I first came to the festival in 2008 when it was a small-scale event but over the years it has grown massively in size and reputation. I can’t wait to make a return visit.”

On the Sunday of the event Strictly Come Dancing star and one of TV’s favorite chefs Ainsley Harriott will be making his first appearance ever at the festival. He said, food filled” I’ve always enjoyed visiting Bolton and I’ve heard great things about this festival so I can’t wait to come back, get stuck in and meet all the fantastic people.”

Then on the final food-filled festival, James Martin will be making his appearance. He said “I love this festival, the people are so welcoming. I’ve been doing it for so many years and there is always something new and different to look forward to”.
