The Botanist launches in style in Media City
| 2nd September 2017
Botanist launched in Media City with a few familiar faces from Corrie – including Melanie Hill (Cathy Matthews), Daniel Brocklebank (Billy Mayhew), Dolly-Rose Campbell (Gemma Winter) and Hayley Tamaddon (Andrea Beckett).
The 14th addition to The Botanist portfolio is in The Orange Tower, sharing it with University of Salford and ITV, as well as being close to the BBC, The Lowry Theatre, the Industrial War Museum and the Coronation Street set.
Featuring a large outside terrace allowing for al fresco drinking and dining – with incredible views over Salford Quays – it has room for 146 diners, offering hanging kebabs, deli boards, nibbles and pub grub staples such as rotisserie chicken and the in-house barbecue.
The extensive cocktail menu offers over 45 botanical-based concoctions and top class mixologists, as well as more than 60 ales, beers and ciders from around the world, including a home-brewed speciality ale.
We especially loved the cocktails served in plant pots…. just as long as we are not expected to do any weeding while we are there.
Sales and Events Manager Dan Shidlow said: “We’re very excited to be opening in MediaCityUK, it’s the perfect location for our brand. The area is always busy and as The Botanist is already renowned for excellent food, drink and live entertainment we expect this pub to be very popular with the area’s daytime workers who want to pop in for a coffee in addition to those looking for an after work drink.”
