The Jockey Club Live and Aintree Racecourse have revealed that Brit Award-winning, multimillion selling band the Kaiser Chiefs will be performing at Aintree Racecourse this week!

Featuring a full headline show, the chart topping band will take centre stage this Friday (19th May) in an open-air concert at the racecourse in Liverpool.

It’s hard to believe that it’s been 13 years since the Indie-pop band from Leeds first shot to fame, with their breakout hit I Predict a Riot.

Since this the band have gone from strength to strength with a line-up of smash hit songs including; Everyday I Love You Less and Less, Modern Way and their number one hit single Ruby.

The band’s new album Stay Together marks their sixth top 10 album and they’re about to take on a UK Arena tour, but unfortunately it doesn’t include Manchester or Liverpool, meaning that their Aintree show is the only chance you’ll get to see them in the north west this year.

We’re also used to watching members of the band grace our TV screens, as wild front man, Ricky Wilson, was the first coach on The Voice UK to mentor the winning acts two years in a row.

Prior to the headlining performance on Friday, concert goers will get their chance to win some money as there’ll also be a six race card ahead of the show – organised by Aintree Racecourse and the Jockey Club Live.

The Jockey Club Live events are renowned for combining a fun filled evening at the races with a spectacular evening concert – what more could you ask for?

The Kaiser Chiefs join previously announced Jess Glynne, who headlines on Friday, 16th June 2017. Tickets are still available to purchase for both concerts on the Aintree website here.
