The Warehouse Project closing parties are set to take Store Street out with a bang

All good things must come to an end, and that includes Manchester’s musical phenom The Warehouse ProjectBut there is great news as Manchester’s iconic raving party has released the line-ups for their end of the season closing parties – and we could not be any happier with the announcements.  

Having entered the second half of its calendar this season, the series of club nights is an ode to music showcasing its ever-increasing calibre to attract the biggest artists from all over the world. And where The Warehouse Project can, they deliver the goods time and time again. 

Each year The Warehouse Project release their hugely anticipated season line-up while the closing parties between December 29th and New Year’s Day remain shrouded in line-up mystery. Arguably building excitement around who will be celebrating hauling in the new year, the announcement is more than welcomed by the Warehouse’s faithful following. 

And this year has been no different with an array of mammoth artists unveiled to take the city of Manchester into 2018 with a bang. Here to dissect each event, here is why you should be purchasing your tickets for the end of year parties. 

Friday, December 29: Kaluki. 

The Warehouse ProjectThey are Manchester’s home-grown events and music label founded back in 2006 with a success story that has followed ever since. Kaluki Musik has an arsenal of artists who have charted music under the label including the likes of Andrea Oliva and WaFF. Now they return to Store Street with the finest names in electronic music and it looks to be a belter. Headliner acts are none other than Bristol-born Eats Everything and Denmark’s finest DJ export Kölsch. If you haven’t witnessed already, Kölsch delivered a set aloft the Eiffel Tower early in October and it was epic.  

Kaluki will be spearheading an abundance of British DJs including house producer Steve Lawler, Richy Ahmed, and Darius Syrossian. A key component to Kaluki’s sound has been both Pete Zorba and Pirate Copy who join the celebrations. And to keep the mouth-watering, Latmun, Jacky, Max ChapmanMihalis Safras, Matt Tolfrey, Jansons, and Senzele complete the impeccable line-up. This is one event not to be missed. 

Saturday, December 30: FAC 51 – The Haçienda.

FAC 51 – The Haçienda is back with their unforgettable nights. A mammoth line up has been curated for this Saturday night by the FAC 51 team. Three-time DJ award winner and Grammy-nominated record producer Danny Tenaglia will be a main highlight of the night. The New York-based DJ will be spinning a packed catalogue of music spanning over several decades of experience.

Fellow American DJ Todd Terry joins the list as to solo artist and British DJ Gerald Simpson, better known in the DJ world as A Guy Called Gerald. Further DJs attending the coveted night include Kevin SaundersonGraeme ParkGreg WilsonDanny RamplingJustin RoberstonJon DasilvaPeter HookAllister WhiteheadTom Wainwright, and Russ. The event is still to announce further artists. Keep your eyes on this one for sure. 

Sunday, December 31: NYE at WHP.

The Warehouse ProjectIt’s going to be the biggest party in Manchester when Store street reel in 2018. Celebrations will be in full swing as The Warehouse Project welcomes back British house DJ Hannah Wants. The female DJ has already tantalized crowds during PLAY back in September. Hannah will be accompanied by an array of the biggest DJs in the game to date with Disciples and duo Bondax joining the celebrations. 

Picking up an award for best newcomer DJ, Low Steppa will be on hand to elate New Year’s Eve with all things electro house. IcarusFriend WithinDenneyMak & Pasteman, Klose OneGotsomeRich Reason, and Versus round out the line-up to take you through to the new year. This event will surely sell out so don’t hang about grabbing a ticket. Guaranteed party of parties, count down the end of 2017 with The Warehouse Project. 

Monday, January 01: The Closing Party.

The penultimate date in The Warehouse Project calendar, Monday 1st of January marks the closing party and an end to the coveted Mancunian event. But Store Street will go out in style with the final event compiled of a juggernaut line-up. The Warehouse Project favourites electronic duo Bicep return for a second outing ready to put on a final show of the season. Also returning to the event having dominated a performance during Drumcode, Alan Fitzpatrick is back to erupt the warehouse once again. 

The flawless talent continues to ooze throughout the line-up with The Black MadonnaMotor City Drum Esemble, and Korean talent Hunee drawing the season to a close. Further artists include Daniel AveryMidlandDenis SultaPeggy GouTom TragoGreg LordKyrsko and much more. This will be your last chance to get in on the action of what has been a mesmerizing Warehouse Project season already.
