Victoria Beckham’s Dom Pattinson Painting

kiri | 11th November 2015

We can’t wait to see Victoria Beckham’s Dom Pattinson’s painting, it was inspired by her United Nations speech and we will be able to share it with you in a few days!

Dom Pattinson is an artist to the stars, George Clooney bought one of his spectacular designs for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, as a wedding present and the painting from Pattinson’s  ‘Hope’ collection was featured in Vanity Fair. Davina McCall and Liam Gallagher are also fans of his work and now Victoria Beckham has her very own Dom Pattinson painting. On the evening of November 12th, Victoria Beckham’s ‘Barbed Wire Love’ painting will be revealed, along with his brand new ‘Love is all’ collection, at the Westover Gallery in Bournemouth.

Artist Dom Pattinson smelts carefree, audacious attitudes and sassiness with Street Art influences to produce his own style. As Urban Art is fast becoming popular, the marriage between Street Art and universally digestible fine art is blurred with Dom’s original thought and application of mixed media on canvas and paper. His art transcends the exponential, mode-de-jour of the Graffiti Art Movement of recent years because his pieces inherently omit the bounds that street art in public areas impose; his art is produced on traditional material and is found hanging on walls in homes, galleries and private collections. It is this highly personal approach that sets him apart.

Dom creates sassy, provocative imagery that connects with everyone on different levels – a fundamental pillar of Urban Art. His work is often comprised of repeated stencil patterns using a pastel palette contrasted with bold black, interspersed with bursts of flavorsome color. Experimentation with printmaking, stenciling, spray-painting, collage and acrylics help him to capture his muse, which is nothing more than everyday life

The brand new Dom Pattinson ‘Love is all’ exhibition will be held at the Wendover Gallery in Bournemouth at with a private press viewing from 5-6pm.
