VIVA embraces Veganuary

Jessica Ward | 7th January 2019

With veganuary upon us, many of us have been taking up the veganuary challenge in an effort to slim down and shape up!

With record numbers signing up to Veganuary this year, people all over the country will be trying to live on a plant-based diet, at least for a few weeks. With vegan options becoming cheaper and more widespread, the organisers of the initiative now believe 2019 will be the year of the vegan.

An exract taken from veganuary.com states, “There are so many reasons people decide to try vegan. For most, a love of animals is the catalyst. Some people want to feel better about themselves and the impact they make on the world. Others would like to set themselves a challenge, and many combine Veganuary with their ‘New Year’s Resolutions’ and see trying vegan as the healthiest start to the year. Whatever your reason, we’re here to support you.”

To make your veganuary that little bit easier, we have been trying a range of vegan foods to help you on your journey. We’ve narrowed down the best foods on the market this year!
