Put the pans down! Save time and get your nutrition back on track with The Good Prep company now that the world is starting to reopen.
As we emerge from our home cocoons like glorious butterflies, if one thing is for sure, we don’t seem to have as much time on our hands as we used to.
The days of baking copious amounts banana bread, uneven cupcakes and barely risen breads are firmly behind us. Now is a time to catch up with loved ones, get back to the gym and enjoy a drink in the sunshine in one of the many pub gardens Britain has to offer.
Like many of others, I am determined to get back into shape. Feeling less like a butterfly and more akin to a bear emerging from hibernation, I am ready to shed those lockdown pounds, get my diet back on track and squeeze back into those pre COVID fitted clothes.
Now that the rules are gradually being lifted, I’ve noticed my calendar filling up a lot quicker than I’m used to. Luckily for me that’s on both a business and a social front. Throughout lockdown I had so much time on my hands that I was able to really push and advance my culinary skills in the kitchen. The problem I am now faced with, is that I don’t want to give up eating good food, but for me time really is of the essence.
That’s when, with such eloquent timing, The Good Prep slid their way into my DMs. They pride themselves in creating tasty, quality food, made with the best, freshest and most delicious ingredients for the food they source.
Whilst I had heard it all before from many meal prep companies prior, all who I might add end up sending a variety of textures and colours of lightly flavoured cardboard, The Good Prep menu genuinely piqued my interest. I have to admit, I was a little dubious, however I am always happy to be proven wrong, especially when it comes to good food.
I was sent a range of dishes from their halloumi and sweet potato mash, which honestly, I thought would turn out rubbery and tasteless, yet turned out to be quite the opposite. A peanut butter chicken curry, which packed a flavourful and slightly spicy punch, a smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel that quite frankly was up there with some of the best foodie brunch spots around town, amongst many other equally tasty meals. I was clearly onto a winner.
Now, as for how The Good Prep works, its ridiculously easy. Just head on over to the website thegoodprep.com and click the get started button. Simply choose your meal plan, Trim & Slim (£120), Maintain & Sustain (£135) or Grow & Gain (£150). It pretty much does what it says on the tin!
Each package will keep you going for five days. They include breakfast, lunch, dinner and a snack, all of which are perfectly portioned, balanced – and you even get to choose which meals you get. Just make your selection and head to the checkout (did I mention they also do free delivery?).
Finally, let me clarify, The Good Prep aren’t just about losing weight, calorie counting and sacrificing good food for a perfectly toned gym bod. They just want to provide tasty and nutritious food that also helps you stay on track and lead a healthy lifestyle. If that’s the type of thing you are looking for, get onto them ASAP and you won’t be disappointed.
VIVA Verdict: The feeling of a good home cooked meal, without having to do any of the legwork. Reasonably priced and super tasty, it’s a clear winner from me.
